How to select and store:
The lighter the watermelon is, the riper it is. As for its skin, it should be shiny and without any sting on its surface. It is said that the ripe watermelon would be determined by banging on it which has a deep and expensive voice.
Fresh watermelon should be kept in refrigerator as exposing to sunlight or heat might lead to lose its worthwhile nutrients. If it is sliced before, you should wrap it with cellophane or in sealed container.
