The process of preparing tomato paste contains 4 steps. It literally starts by cooking tomato in a pot filled with water. Thereafter, the cooked tomato filtered out to separate its skin. Having cooked to be concentrated enough, it should then mix with salt and oil in case of deterioration. It is important to be concentrated enough as the diluted tomato paste might be spoiled and the firm one has burnt.

Having used tomato paste, you should put it in refrigerator as it decays in room temperature. It is said that the best way to store tomato paste is to put it in a clean and dried plastic container then keep it in refrigerator.
