Pickled Cucumber

How to prepare:

The process of preparing pickled cucumber contain 3 steps. To commence, the combination of water, salt and vinegar has been boiled. Having cold the solution, it should combine with clear and dried cucumber. Thereafter, some pieces of garlic are added to them. Then comes the last stage in which put mixture in a sealed container and keep it for up to a week in a dried and cool area.

How to store:

It is better to keep pickled cucumber in refrigerator. Do not use hand or a messy spoon to pick pickled cucumber as it be spoiled.

Properties:

Pickled cucumber contains two strong antioxidants i.e. vitamin E and C protecting body against free radicals and prevents bacterial diseases. Since it has been prepared with vinegar it can serve as an important agent for better absorption of vitamins. Its acidity by contrast, prevents carbohydrate molecules to decompose and absorb by cells. Furthermore, pickled cucumber decreases blood fats level in the vessels. It is known as a useful treatment for whom with digestion problem by improving useful intestinal bacteria.

This practical garnish can adjust blood sugar and prevent diabetes type 2. Pickled cucumber can be easily added to a wide variety of dishes and serve as an appetizer.
